%K The presented work is devoted to the author's attempt to offer his own view on the possible mechanism for the sustainable development of the enterprise, conducting its business activities in the sphere of housing and communal services. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to ensuring the sustainable development of the industry enterprise, a mechanism is proposed based on the consideration and coordination of the interests of stakeholders. The proposed mechanism consists of nine stages, each of which should take into account the specific industry features of the economic entity. Also, based on the analysis of existing approaches, the author grouped the mechanisms of sustainable development of the enterprise into the following types: Mechanisms based on the assessment of the development indicators of a number of classical components: economic, environmental, technological, financial, innovative, etc.; a group of mechanisms based on a process approach to management: the mechanism implements decomposition and grouping of existing elements of enterprise management and development (goal setting and definition of tasks, organization of the innovation process, regulation and control), as well as methods, principles and tools; a group of mechanisms representing step-by-step models with the phased implementation of a set of pre-designated actions; mechanisms based on the formation of production programs for enterprise development based on the analysis of market opportunities and parameters of economic sustainability
