In the context of escalating geopolitical tensions, expanding sanctions pressure, and accelerating global digital transformation, technological security is becoming a key element in ensuring Russia's economic sovereignty. The lack of technological independence in critical industries increases the vulnerability of the national economy and limits its ability to develop sustainably. The purpose of the work is to analyze the state and prospects of ensuring technological security in the context of Russia's economic security, as well as to develop proposals to strengthen the national scientific and technological potential. As a result of the study, the analysis showed that despite the growth of government support for import substitution and digitalization, Russia continues to face systemic problems: a low level of innovative activity of enterprises (about 10% in 2021), a decrease in the number of researchers with academic degrees, insufficient financing of R&D (only 1.3% of GDP in 2021) and the dominance of transactional rather than the production effects of digitalization [5, 7, 9]. At the same time, starting in 2022. There is an intensification of measures to create national technology platforms, expand cooperation with friendly countries, and develop the megascience infrastructure. Ensuring technological security requires a systematic approach, including the modernization of the regulatory framework, the development of human capital, the promotion of private investment in research and development and the formation of sustainable research and production clusters. Only such a strategy will allow Russia to overcome the technological gap and ensure economic sovereignty in the new technological reality.
