The article examines the features of the formation of moral and volitional qualities among students in the process of physical culture and sports activities with an emphasis on the process of physical education at school. The purpose of the work was to find the most relevant forms and methods of organizing physical education for the formation of moral and volitional qualities in students. The paper provides a scientific review of the following sections: moral and volitional qualities in the personal profile of a teenager, physical culture and sports activities as a factor in the formation of moral and volitional qualities in young people, features of the development of moral and volitional qualities in adolescents in the process of physical culture and sports activities. Achieving success in the moral and volitional education of young people through physical culture and sports depends on the primary determination of students' current state, the development of effective methods for the formation of personal qualities and determining the level of preparation for physical exertion and performing motor actions in a specific age period.
