The article examines communicative practices of digital society in the context of the transformation of contemporary media influenced by the processes of digitalization and the global spread of information and communication technologies. The study analyzes changes in the mechanisms of information production, distribution, and consumption within the networked media environment, as well as the transformation of traditional models of mass communication. Special attention is paid to the role of social media in shaping new forms of social interaction, the algorithmization of communication processes, and the evolution of professional journalistic practices in the digital era. The research also explores the interaction between professional and user-generated media content and the impact of media platforms on audience media behavior. The article concludes that contemporary media not only reflect social processes but also actively participate in constructing digital reality by shaping new models of public communication, information exchange, and social interaction in the digital society.
