Formation of professional competencies of future IT specialists in the process of developing the Cafe educational mobile application for Android OS

Abstract:
The article examines the pedagogical potential of mobile application development in the process of training future specialists in the field of information technology. The relevance of the research is due to the need to update the content of practice-based learning in accordance with the requirements of the digital economy and the labor market. The paper presents an analysis of a training project to create a Cafe application for Android, implemented in Python using the Kivy framework. The design stages, key functional modules of the application (reservation of tables, generation of electronic vouchers, interactive menu) and their didactic potential are described. Special attention is paid to the formation of universal and general professional competencies, such as the ability to carry out project activities, possession of modern development tools, work with a graphical interface and databases. The research results can be used by teachers of higher and secondary professional educational institutions when designing software development courses.
