The study examines the criminological characteristics of the crime provided for in Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which punishes the rehabilitation of Nazism. Based on the study of investigative and judicial practice, the authors came to the following conclusions: the crime has a fairly low level of latency, is widespread both quantitatively and geographically; this act is more often committed by people in the range of 16-29 years and 30-49 years; men among criminals make up 92%; people mostly have no previous convictions; only one crime is committed (but it can be multiple if committed on the Internet), but if we talk about the totality, it usually includes similar crimes of extremist and terrorist orientation; intoxication is found among people who desecrate the symbols of military glory of Russia.
