Digitalization of the agricultural sector and the problems of labor migration of IT specialists to work in rural areas
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article examines current trends in the digitalization of the agricultural sector and analyzes the problems of labor migration of IT specialists to rural areas in the context of the structural transformation of the economy. It is shown that the transition to the "digital agriculture" model involves the introduction of precision farming technologies, IoT solutions, big data analysis, artificial intelligence and unmanned systems, which significantly increases the productivity and sustainability of the agro-industrial complex. At the same time, the dependence of the effectiveness of digital transformation on the level of development of the digital infrastructure and the availability of qualified personnel has been revealed. It has been proven that the key limitation of rural digitalization is the lack of IT specialists due to infrastructural inequality, lack of social conditions and concentration of high-tech jobs in urban agglomerations. The barriers to attracting and retaining IT personnel in rural areas are analyzed and a system of comprehensive measures is proposed, including the development of telecommunications infrastructure, educational programs in the agrotechnological sector, economic incentives and the formation of a favorable social environment. It is concluded that there is a need for an integrated approach to the formation of digital ecosystems in the agricultural sector as a condition for sustainable rural development and reducing the digital divide between urban and rural areas.
