This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the global and Russian artificial intelligence (AI) market over the period 2020-2025. By synthesizing statistical data from international and Russian analytical reports through comparative analysis, the authors draw several conclusions. These include the market’s transition from pilot projects to large-scale implementation. The global AI market is experiencing steady growth that exceeds earlier forecasts. While the Russian AI market is expanding at a rate comparable to global trends, its share of the global market remains extremely small. The findings indicate that the period 2020-2025 represented a crucial stage in the ongoing establishment of the global AI market as a distinct economic category, with steady growth also observed in Russia.
