In this research work, the diagnosis of the economic security of an enterprise is interpreted as a holistic mechanism for measuring its stability and the degree of protection against threats arising both inside and outside the organization. The basic stages of the diagnostic process are described: rapid diagnostics, general, comprehensive and systemic assessment. The basic methods of assessing the financial condition of an organization are considered, the basic approaches used in diagnosing the economic security of an economic entity are developed. The study developed an algorithm for diagnosing economic security, which ensures the effectiveness of the functioning of all elements of the enterprise, supports the achievement of strategic benchmarks and strengthens the reliability of management by minimizing and neutralizing risk factors. The results of the study emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to organizing the diagnosis of economic security to reduce possible risks and ensure the sustainable development of the business entity.
