In the context of the formation of a post-industrial economy characterized by the dominance of knowledge, information, and innovation, models of sustainable economic growth based on the effective use of human capital and the development of innovation infrastructure, ensuring continuous renewal of the technological and production base, are becoming increasingly important. This article is devoted to a comprehensive study of modern approaches to ensuring sustainable economic development in the transition to a knowledge-based economy, where the key resources are intellectual abilities, the level of education, professional competencies, and the capacity for generating and implementing innovations. The paper analyzes the role of human capital as the main factor in increasing labor productivity, enhancing economic competitiveness, and forming long-term economic growth, as well as examines the mechanisms of its development through education systems, professional training, and lifelong learning. Particular attention is paid to innovation infrastructure, including research organizations, technology parks, business incubators, venture funds, and other elements that ensure the creation, dissemination, and commercialization of new knowledge and technologies. The relationship between the quality of human capital and the level of development of the innovation environment is considered, as well as their combined impact on the sustainability of economic growth in the context of global competition and rapid technological progress. The article also analyzes contemporary challenges of the post-industrial economy, including digitalization, changes in employment structure, increasing requirements for workforce qualifications, and the need to adapt the institutional environment to new conditions. It is substantiated that sustainable economic growth in a post-industrial economy is possible only through the integration of human capital and innovation infrastructure into a unified system capable of ensuring continuous development and adaptation of the economy to external changes. The results obtained emphasize the need for a comprehensive state policy aimed at developing education, science, and innovation, as well as creating favorable conditions for interaction among all participants in the economic system.
