Economic efficiency of automated control of unmanned aircraft systems and organization of mixed traffic
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article discusses modern approaches to automated counteraction against unauthorized use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and integration of legitimate drones into a common airspace with manned aircraft. Based on the analysis of Russian and regional (Saint Petersburg) experience, key technological and managerial solutions are highlighted, including electronic warfare systems, neural network detectors, and digital sky platforms. Special attention is paid to the organization of mixed traffic in airport zones and urban agglomerations. An economic feasibility analysis of implementing automated systems is carried out. The cost structure, sources of savings, payback periods, and macroeconomic effects are shown. A table of practical examples with efficiency assessment is presented. The conclusion is made about the need for further development of the regulatory framework, standardization of interaction protocols, and training of personnel for the operation of automated systems.
