Abstract:
The digital transformation of higher education is fundamentally changing the formats of interaction between teachers and students, giving rise to new ethical dilemmas and challenges. This article examines key aspects of teacher ethics in a digital educational environment: respect for students' privacy and personal data, responsible use of proctoring technologies, transparency of assessment algorithms, appropriate use of artificial intelligence, maintaining professional boundaries in online communication, and ensuring inclusivity. Particular attention is paid to the issue of academic integrity in the context of widespread access to AI generators: how teachers can be fair, demanding, and supportive at the same time. It emphasizes that digital ethics is not a set of prohibitions, but professional competence based on respect, trust, and humanistic values.
