The article analyzes the dynamics and sectoral differentiation of the average monthly nominal accrued salary in the Russian Federation based on official statistical data from Rosstat for 2017-2024. The aim of the study is to quantify the sustainability of intersectoral differences in the level of wages using economic and mathematical methods. The paper uses methods of time series analysis, calculation of absolute and relative growth rates, linear and exponential trend modeling, as well as index and variation analysis. The results of the study show that the steady growth of nominal wages in the economy as a whole is not accompanied by a smoothing of sectoral differences. On the contrary, the persistence and, in some cases, strengthening of sectoral differentiation has been revealed, due to the varying intensity of wage growth by type of economic activity. The findings confirm the stable nature of structural wage differences and can be used in analytical research and in the development of socio-economic and sectoral policy measures.
