The article is devoted to the analysis of the transformation of labor competence requirements in the context of the digitalization of the economy, the development of generative artificial intelligence and automation of production processes. The purpose of the study is to identify key changes in the structure of professional skills and identify mechanisms for coordinating the competence requirements of employers, the education system and government policy. It is shown that flexible competencies, including analytical thinking, adaptability, communication, and emotional intelligence, play an increasing role along with digital skills. Based on the analysis of international and Russian studies, the problem of non-compliance of graduates' competencies with the requirements of the labor market is considered. Special attention is paid to the tools of the National Qualifications System, the National Personnel Project and corporate personnel development practices. It is concluded that it is necessary to coordinate the efforts of the state, educational organizations and employers to form a modern competency-based training model.
