Lyrics and cinematic art as a system of artistic whole

Abstract:
We sought to view E. Ryazanov's well-known film as a striking example of the holistic and organic unity of different art forms—cinema and literary creativity (particularly poetry). In our view, this is a good example of how elements of different art forms are not simply united in a single space—they "incorporate one another, crossing boundaries, exerting a necessary mutual influence, modifying and transforming one another." [6, p. 40]. Our goal was to determine the place and function of lyrical poetry in the screenplay, their role in realizing the author's conceptual vision. A holistic perception of the image places semantic accents, enhances the semantic resonance of episodes, and helps us understand the essence of the characters. We believe that it is precisely the metaphorical poetry that imbues the film's plot with profound meaning and compels the viewer to reflect on themselves and their fate.
