Socio-economic study of the consumption of educational services in Russia from 2000 to 2025.

Abstract:
This paper examines trends in key indicators of student and institution numbers by educational level in Russia. This paper aims to identify factors such as global trends, government policy, social class at the macro level, and social environment, fashion, and traditions at the micro level that have influenced education consumption in the country over the past 25 years. The study examines student enrollment data in state, municipal, and non-state general education institutions, as well as secondary vocational and higher education institutions, as well as consumer price indices for service groups in the education system from 2019 to 2024. The paper concludes with conclusions on the causes of changes in educational service consumption, highlighting such phenomena as the individualization and digitalization of education
