The article is devoted to revealing innovative pedagogical experience related to the spiritual and moral development of students through the teaching of a foreign language as a school subject. It presents the methodological foundation of the studied problem and the conceptual framework of the research in the context of the achievements of contemporary domestic pedagogy. The authors propose conditions that ensure the comprehensive spiritual and moral education of students within the framework of foreign language education, as well as a program for the spiritual and moral upbringing and personal development of students. The experience of the English language teaching resource center is presented in terms of socio-pedagogical and methodological support for students, in the formation of communicative competence and personal qualities necessary for successful socialization in the Russian and foreign-language environments of friendly countries. The article concludes on the necessity of deliberately shaping the personality of the student in the unity of moral education, aesthetic upbringing, and intellectual development.
