The article addresses issues related to the modernization of secondary vocational education, using the example of State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "Viluysky Vocational Pedagogical College named after N.G. Chernyshevsky". It focuses on the development and implementation of a quality assurance model (QAM), which includes key components such as the quality of programs, teachers, students, technologies, material and technical resources, and management. Effectiveness is assessed through internal and external systems, allowing objective evaluation of students’ preparedness and compliance with standards. Recent years have shown positive indicators of quality improvement, including an increase in outstanding graduation projects and successful final assessments. The model's implementation has motivated students, enhanced professional skills, and improved learning conditions, confirming the effectiveness of this approach to modernizing secondary vocational education.
